16th Shrawan, Kathmandu - At the Achyutram Bhandari Music Foundation, Dhan Bahadur Gurung performed a shehnai recital during the monthly event held on the 15th of each Nepali month. Based on Raag Jog, the shehnai performance was accompanied by tabla maestro Ananta Prajapati. Chief guest, renowned Deuda singer Nandakrishna Joshi, honored the artists. Additionally, special guest Keshav Mani Oli, President of Oli Vansa Akshaya Kosh, honored senior sitarist Dr. Dhrubesh Chandra Regmi on behalf of the foundation. In his speech, Nandakrishna Joshi emphasized the importance of preserving classical music. The foundation has been organizing classical music events featuring various artists every month for the past 25 months at its premises in Gaurighat.
