गुकारश्चान्धकारस्तु रुकारस्तन्निरोधकृत् ।
अन्धकारविनाशित्वात् गुरुरित्यभिधीयते ।। ३४ ।।
‘गु’कार अन्धकार हो र त्यसलाई टाढा गर्ने ‘रु’कार हो । अज्ञानरुपी अन्धकारलाई नष्ट गर्ने भएको कारणले नै ‘गुरु’ भनिएको हो ।गुरुगीता, अध्याय १ - श्लोक ३४ गुकारश्चान्धकारस्तु रुकारस्तन्निरोधकृत् । अन्धकारविनाशित्वात् गुरुरित्यभिधीयते ।। ३४ ।। ‘गु’कार अन्धकार हो र त्यसलाई टाढा गर्ने ‘रु’कार हो । अज्ञानरुपी अन्धकारलाई नष्ट गर्ने भएको कारणले नै ‘गुरु’ भनिएको हो ।
