You are a Hindu girl and you need to grasp this one simple thing.

During your cycle you are NOT considered impure - you are considered the most powerful. The energy of your apaan vayu is flowing downwards. The strong spiritual force of a temple forces it upwards -

We do not enter the temple in this time to protect our own womb which is the most fragile and sacred thing in the universe. We are our own temple in that time. And to protect the energy of the temple too.

Don’t feel bad - and don’t abandon the temple! Shiva loves you. Mata Parvati loves you so much.

And don’t blame your parents or community for not being able to explains the spiritual reality of why we have traditions, rules and structures in dharma. It is NOT because you are lacking in any way. Forgive them,

If you read this, let me know and I’ll be happy to share more on this topic.

By the way Maa Kamakhya bleeds for 3 days in a year and this is celebrated as the Ambubachi Mela in Assam. Do go and visit there and see how the sacred menstrual period is celebrated.

Sanatan Dharma cannot be understood with the defunct modern education we have and our linear ego/intellect.

Keep going to temple and by the way it’s not seven days - it’s just the FIRST THREE DAYS. So you can chuck the seven day idea 🤣 that’s false for sure.

Much love ❤️
