Probable SC Order on Adani Tomorrow:

A) There were regulatory violations pointed by Petitioner's and other violations which SEBI the regulators shall quickly expedite and decide within __period.

B) Hindenburg Report was a by-product of a short seller to benefit out of Short Selling of Adani Group securities and it caused massive loss to investors in Indian market and a loss of investor confidence in Indian economy.

C) The Adani Group companies are involved in critical infrastructure projects in India dealing with public resources thus any loss attributable to short selling has direct impact not only on the investors but also the public confidence in Indian economy.

D) Therefore prima facie the Hindenburg Report was clouded by a motive of a short seller aiming to make a quick fortune by short selling adani group securities. Thus the allegations set out in the report cannot be taken at the face value as the motive is suspect and even otherwise nothing material turns on it.

E) Based on expert committee recommendations we direct SEBI to deal with these suggestions in a bid to avoid this kind of Short Selling in Indian market harming the investors confindence.

G) The Government of India through ministry of finance shall take all necessary steps in this regard to protect invetsor confidence and a common investor in Indian market from such short sellers.

F) We thank the experts committee for their invaluable assistance in this matter.
