More than 2,000 former workers and office-bearers of the opposition Congress and the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP joined the BJP in Gujarat on Tuesday.

They joined the party in the presence of Gujarat BJP chief CR Paatil and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at an event held at ‘Shree Kamalam’, the party state headquarters in Gandhinagar, as per an official release.
