Congress used to contest 5/6 seats in Mumbai and 1 seat was for undivided NCP.

But after the MVA seats sharing decision, Congress got only 2 seats to contest on...

But Mumbai Congress is demanded equal seat 3-3 sharing to State Congress.

Mumbai Congress President Varsha Gaikwad herself didn't get a ticket. She was adamant to get the Mumbai South Central seat ticket.

But the ticket went to SS UBT, and now she has agreed to campaign for MVA condidate Anil Desai.
