The UAE has criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's proposal to create civilian governance in the Gaza Strip - Reuters.

Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the Israeli Prime Minister does not have the authority to do this. The UAE refuses to participate in any scheme that aims to cover up the Israeli presence in the enclave, he added.
