In Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 68,866 applications have been received for free vocational training, with 43,058 applying for training through the 'Skill Fair'. Under the 'Prosperity of Employment and Income, Kathmandu's Prosperity' program, 15,000 individuals will receive free training, aiming to provide employment or self-employment to 5,000 of them. The final two days of the Skill Fair will be dedicated to a Job Fair, connecting job seekers with employers. Various government officials and stakeholders have been involved in monitoring the fair.
