An Abu Dhabi court in the UAE has convicted 53 individuals affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, designating them as terrorists.

The court handed down sentences ranging from life imprisonment to fines of AED 20M (approximately USD 5.5M).

The Muslim Brotherhood has been accused of promoting extremist ideologies that are harmful to humanity, intolerant of diverse beliefs, and opposed to peaceful coexistence.
