इस प्रसिद्ध बिस्किट कंपनी का प्लांट 1947 में स्थापित किया गया था। सभी कर्मचारियों ने स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति योजना (VRS) को स्वीकार कर लिया है।

Recently, Udayan Guha, the TMC Minister of North Bengal Development, announced the sanctioning of 4 crore INR for Mathabhanga 1 block and 10 crore INR for Mathabhanga 2 block. However, he stated that not a single penny would be sanctioned for Coochbehar town, Dinhata town, and Mathabhanga town because these areas voted for the BJP .

This explicit punishment of areas for their electoral choices undermines the principles of democracy and equality enshrined in the Constitution. It is an alarming indication of partisan politics taking precedence over the welfare of citizens, irrespective of their political affiliations.

There is an urgent need for heightened awareness and vigilance among the Indian populace to ensure that constitutional violations do not go unchecked. The imposition of President's Rule might be a necessary step to restore constitutional order and uphold the rule of law in India.
