• Worshiping the same deity as the favorite deity helps in mental unity. Although this is a good thing, other deities should never be looked down upon. We should also be clear that the same God exists in many forms.

Not harming anyone is the way to get rid of suffering in previous births and in this life.

Donating is a very good thing. But it is very necessary to sacrifice the idea that I have given charity to the poor.

Extravagance and dowry in marriages are against our Shastra traditions. We should realize that even if we ask for dowry or give it to the woman's family, it is like stolen property.

Eating vegetarian food also gives us a sense of humility and it is also a significant feature that we do not harm other living beings.

  • Dear Balen Sir,
It's truly heartening to see Kathmandu Metropolitan taking proactive steps to revolutionize education in community schools. The commitment to modern teaching methods and improved facilities is commendable, reflecting a genuine investment in our children's future.

The introduction of smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, face attendance systems, free snacks, book-free Fridays, and practical classes undoubtedly enhances the learning experience and sets a higher standard for education.

However, amidst these positive changes, it's crucial to address the essence of education itself. Questions arise about the content and values we impart to our children. The removal of Sanskrit education and the absence of teachings on our rich culture and Hindu way of life raise valid concerns.

Our cultural heritage and historical legacy are invaluable treasures that deserve preservation and celebration. It's vital for our youth to learn about their roots, traditions, and the ethos that shapes our identity as a society.

Let's hope that alongside modernization, there's a concerted effort to uphold and integrate our cultural heritage and values into the educational curriculum. After all, a holistic education encompasses not only academic knowledge but also an understanding and appreciation of our heritage. 🌟

  • Exclusive Kabarnuma Chitasthals of Nehru Dynasts at Rajghat

Episode 2 of the series entitled, " Islamization of Hindu Heritage- Case Study of Delhi" ( अथवा हिंदू नेताओं के कबरनुमा स्मृतिस्थल), is titled: Mahabharat kaal ka Rajghat Nehru vanshajon ki bapauti kaise bana.

In this episode I describe the devious process through which the 245 acre of prime-most land in the heart of India's capital city was turned into an exclusive memorial ground built around chita-sthals (cremation sites) of Nehru dynasts. What is worse, they have been promoted as "samadhis"--in gross violation of Hindu beliefs and traditions. Today, the entire Rajghat complex resembles a royal kabristan. Furthermore, these chita sthals have been promoted as tourist spots as well as sites for paying homage to the Nehru's progeny.

We would have ignored this as part of Nehru clan's narcissistic desire for immortality since they have already gotten hundreds of elite institutions named after Nehru-Indira offsprings but for the fact that the royal chita sthal memorials have been deliberately planted at Rajghat which was an integral part of thousands of years old sacred city named Indraprastha built under the personal supervision of Shri Krishna for the Pandava brothers of Mahabharat vintage.

"Lectures by those who have a limited understanding of India's pluralistic traditions and the region's post-partition history are best not attempted. Partners and well-wishers of India should welcome the intent with which this step has been taken."

  • Do you know why brides throw Dhan (paddy) or Haldi Akshat (rice) behind them when leaving their father's house after marriage? And why does her mother collect that Dhan or Haldi Akshat with her anchal?

It's because when Maa Mahalakshmi leaves the house, she takes all the wealth, prosperity, happiness, and peace of that house with her.

However, the daughter is such a Bhagya Lakshmi for her parents that even when she leaves her parental home after marriage, she wants to ensure that the wealth, prosperity, and happiness never leave her parental home. That's why she leaves a part of her virtue, wealth, prosperity, and happiness for her parents and enters the new house to make her own fortune.

For this reason, daughters throw Dhan and Haldi Akshat behind them at the time of farewell after marriage, leaving their virtue in their father's house along with wealth, prosperity, happiness, and peace.

The mother collects that punyo of Bhagya Lakshmi that resides in her daughter and keeps the punyo in the Mahalakshmi pot in their home Mandir along with Dhan, Haldi Akshat.

Our ancestors sacrificed themselves to save our traditions and culture. Still, Invasions happened and keep happening…. We have to save our ancient legacy from this cult.

You are a Hindu girl and you need to grasp this one simple thing.

During your cycle you are NOT considered impure - you are considered the most powerful. The energy of your apaan vayu is flowing downwards. The strong spiritual force of a temple forces it upwards -

We do not enter the temple in this time to protect our own womb which is the most fragile and sacred thing in the universe. We are our own temple in that time. And to protect the energy of the temple too.

Don’t feel bad - and don’t abandon the temple! Shiva loves you. Mata Parvati loves you so much.

And don’t blame your parents or community for not being able to explains the spiritual reality of why we have traditions, rules and structures in dharma. It is NOT because you are lacking in any way. Forgive them,

If you read this, let me know and I’ll be happy to share more on this topic.

By the way Maa Kamakhya bleeds for 3 days in a year and this is celebrated as the Ambubachi Mela in Assam. Do go and visit there and see how the sacred menstrual period is celebrated.

Sanatan Dharma cannot be understood with the defunct modern education we have and our linear ego/intellect.

Keep going to temple and by the way it’s not seven days - it’s just the FIRST THREE DAYS. So you can chuck the seven day idea 🤣 that’s false for sure.

    Much love ❤️

  • The concept of 7 days as we know it today can be traced back to ancient civilizations, including the contributions of Hindu Rishi mathematician Aryabhata. The division of the week into seven days has historical, cultural, and astronomical significance.

In Hindu tradition, the seven-day week is called "Saptaha" (सप्ताह), which means "week" in Sanskrit. Each day of the week is associated with a particular planet or deity, which influences the naming of the days in various languages:

    1. RabiBar (Sunday): Named after the Sun (Ravi or Surya), which holds immense significance in Hinduism as the source of light and life. Sunday is considered an auspicious day for worship and is dedicated to the Sun God.

    2. Sombar (Monday): Named after the Moon (Som or Chandra), which is also highly revered in Hindu mythology and symbolizes emotions, beauty, and calmness. Monday is often associated with the worship of Lord Shiva.

    3. Mangalbar (Tuesday): Named after the planet Mars (Mangal), associated with strength, valor, and courage. Tuesday is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, a powerful deity in Hinduism.

    4. Budhbar (Wednesday): Named after the planet Mercury (Budh), which represents intelligence, communication, and business. Wednesday is considered a propitious day for activities related to education and learning.

    5. Brihaspatibar (Thursday): Named after the planet Jupiter (Brihaspati), symbolizing wisdom, knowledge, and fortune. Thursday is associated with worshiping Lord Vishnu or Guru (teacher).

    6. Sukrabar (Friday): Named after the planet Venus (Shukra), associated with love, beauty, and creativity. Friday is considered an auspicious day for weddings and artistic endeavors.

    7. SaniBar (Saturday): Named after the planet Saturn (Shani), which symbolizes discipline, justice, and hard work. Saturday is often associated with the worship of Lord Shani or Lord Hanuman.

These associations with planets and deities have influenced various cultural practices and religious traditions throughout history. The seven-day week has become a fundamental timekeeping system globally, with each day carrying its own unique significance and being observed in various ways across different cultures and religions.
