For the first time, the BJP has secured the second position in this constituency, which has historically been a contest between the BSP and INC.

Demography of Manglaur assembly constituency:

The Manglaur assembly constituency includes Manglaur town and its surrounding areas. Manglaur town is the only Muslim-majority town in Uttarakhand, with an 87% Muslim population according to the 2011 census. The adjacent areas have a significant Hindu population, making the overall Muslim percentage in this constituency approximately 60-70%.

Historically, the BSP has won four out of five times since the formation of Uttarakhand. Congress has won it just once. The BJP has never come first or second in this constituency, even when they have won the state. They have come third three times and fourth twice. The heavy Muslim population in the constituency has been a key factor in this trend.

However, this time, the BJP has come second and nearly won the constituency, losing by just 0.5% (422 votes). This is a phenomenal performance for the BJP, especially in a heavily Muslim-dominated constituency. It suggests that Hindus have consolidated behind the BJP in this by-poll, and it is possible that a portion of Muslims also voted for the BJP. This shift can be attributed to the leadership of Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. Before the by-poll, the Chief Minister confidently stated that the BJP would break the jinx of never having won this constituency in its history. He took all the necessary steps to secure a victory for the BJP this time. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, it was just bad luck that the BJP narrowly lost by a micro-margin. Despite the narrow loss, the BJP’s performance indicates rapid growth in areas where they have historically been weak.

Govt has put forth 5-year plan to purchase of Pulses (Tur, Urad, Masoor), Maize & Cotton crops by NCCF & NAFED at MSP ONLY after written agreement with Farmers &
There will be NO LIMIT on quantity purchased.

Let's Understand the importance of this proposal-

1. Increasing production of Pulses, Maize & Cotton is imp for Bharat's Self-sufficiency.

2. These crops are best suited for degraded soil in Punjab & Haryana. Anyways, no-one eats 3rd grade wheat marred with excessive fertilizers, produced in Punjab(all goes in producing low grade leaker). MSP on these crops will encourage REAL Farmers to shift from Wheat which will help in maintaining soil productivity as well as to farmers.

3. Import bills will come down as Bharat is presently dependent on other countries for Pulses.

4. NO LIMIT....it works both ways. Maximum as well as Minimum. If quality is good, Govt will buy Maximum to ensure food basket for Social Schemes. If quality isn't good, no Farmer Unions can pressure Govt for minimum purchase, as they do presently with Substandard Wheat of Punjab especially.

In short.... Quality decides Quantum of Purchase.

Other demands will be discussed in due course of time which means stretching time till Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Now the Fake Farmers are trapped.

It's a very good proposal for REAL Farmers.

If these Khalistanis refuse this proposal, they lose support from within Punjab.

Haryana, Western UP & Uttarakhand is anyways away from these Fake Protests as of now. If they accept, issue is sorted out & Khalistanis are screwed.

Fake Farmer leaders have declared to discuss Centre’s proposal within their forums on Feb 19-20 and seek the opinion of experts before making a decision.

They have also temporarily halted the 'Delhi Chalo' march following this breakthrough in talks.

उत्तराखंड के हल्द्वानी से लव जिहाद का एक सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया है. बताया जा रहा है कि पहले हिंदू लड़की से रेप किया गया फिर उस पर धर्म परिवर्तन करने का दबाव डाला गया. पीड़ित की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने कई धाराओं में केस दर्ज कर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. पुलिस इस मामले की गहराई से जांच कर रही है.

बताया जा रहा है की इस घटना में उसकी पत्नी भी शामिल है. पीड़िता की शिकायत के बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ 376 और धर्मांतरण सहित कई गंभीर धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज किया. पीड़िता का कहना है कि जब उसने इसका विरोध किया तो उसे जान से मारने की धमकी भी दी गई.
